This person had a relative who was a resident of Libertyville. His name was Viktor CARLSSON. He evidently lived in Libertyville from 1891-1919. He had left his wife and children in Sweden and finally returned to Sweden in 1919 and was reunited with his family. He didn't talk that much about his time in America, but he said that he had worked as a coachman at a big farm. He had also said the he had had a lover who was a rich German woman. It's even possible that he was married in America and had children here. I would appreciate any help or direction which you might send to me in finding out about Viktor and his time in Libertyville. Thanks!!

HAVERLEY
Marilou (Haverley) Naeve Posted 5⁄28⁄98 I am looking for any information regarding C. HAVERLEY. In 1872 he established the livery business in DesPlaines, the first livery stable in the place. Mr. C. HAVERLEY held the office of constable for three years in Lake County, IL. In 1861 he enlisted in Company l (or I), 45th Illinois Voluntary Infantry. In the 1850 Census CD #47 1st Edition a Christopher HAVERLY is listed as being in Deerfield Township, Lake County, IL. Also Christopher HAVERLY under IL Civil War Veterans: Christopher was in the 45th Infantry (so C. HAVERLEY and Christopher HAVERLY could be one and the same person). He participated in the battles of Ft. Donelson and Shiloh. At the later engagement he was wounded by gunshot through the left side, from which he was in the hospital 18 months. He was mustered out in the fall of 1864, and on his return from the army engaged in farming for eight years. I have no other information about this person and would welcome any thing that is available about him. I believe he could be a brother to my ggrandfather William HAVERLEY. Thank you very much.

WRIGHT, FAY
Carl A. Lee Posted 6⁄13⁄98 Amos WRIGHT and his family came to Warren Township in the early 1840s. I have quite a bit of info on this family, but would like more, specifically on a son, John Amos WRIGHT, my ggrandfather. Also looking for the FAY family, who came to Waukegan around 1850 or 1851 from Jefferson County, NY. Would like to know more about his daughter Mary L. who was my ggrandmother, m. John A WRIGHT. What was her middle name? What became of her siblings?

I think Benjamin and Israel were brothers along with Thomas and possibly other siblings. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
